It is an institution and has almost social character: The bar in Italy. On every street corner and in the smallest place you can find them, it is breakfast location, venue and local pub or casino.

Morning in the bar: It is quite busy. Coffee cups rattle and espresso machines produce without break the black stimulant.
Cappuccino or latte macchiato with brioche, this is the Italian standard breakfast.

The brioches (croissants) are called cornetti in southern Italy, there are classically filled with apricot jam, empty (vuoto), with crema, with cioccolato and many other variants.
Breakfast is usually taken while standing at the bar. Only tourists, retirees or housewives who meet to visit the market, sit down comfortably at a table to chatter.

Lunch in the bar: You can see the fresh prepared dishes, mixed salads and sandwiches (panini). After selecting the dishes will be heated in the microwave or the panino is heated in the grill.

Afternoon in the bar: after work is aperitivo time. On the bar you find olives, crisps and snacks. You can drink an aperitif (Aperol, Campari, even without alcohol quite common).

Evening in the bar: Many bars offer "Happy Hour", it practically replaces a dinner. For a fixed price you can eat from the buffet, as much as you like, there are small pieces of pizza, hot and cold pasta or rice, vegetable snacks, sausage and cheese bites. There are no limits  for the fantasy of the "barista" and in every bar the buffet is different.

The Just Cavalli Cafè in the Sempione Park is an attractive fashion designer café. Luxuriously decorated in the style of Roberto Cavalli: crystal chandeliers, large couches in leopard style, pillows, tropical fish that swim in huge goblets of wine.
For lunch the Just Cavalli Café is at the popular restaurant just for VIP's and Models.
In summer, the "Just" opens the Just Flower Garden, an elegant refreshing garden in the park below the tower Torre Branca. From 10:30 p.m. the DJ of Radio 105 opens the party with dance music.

During a stay in the Just Cavalli Cafè you can climb in 108 m height on Torre Branca to enjoy Milan by night from above.

Glamour and relax meet in the Dolce & Gabbana Martini Bar, diffuse light conjures magic points on the shiny black surfaces of the equipment amidst a flora. After the fashion shows of Dolce & Gabbana festivals take place here, otherwise the bar is open to the public.

1915 Camparino bar was opened by Davide Campari and was frequented by the noble Milanese society. Giuseppe Verdi, Maria Callas, Alessandro Manzoni, and the Music Director of La Scala Arturo Toscanini were among the regulars.

The bar in the historic art district Brera takes its name from the Hitchcock movie Jamaica. Benito Mussolini drank his morning coffee in the Jamaica bar. After the World War II, when nobody had money, they paid their coffee with pictures and pieces of art.
