In the Parco Sempione you find the exhibition halls of the Trienniale. The Triennale in Milan was founded in 1933.
In addition to permanent exhibitions such as the permanent Collezione del design italiano, Coffee Design, the Fiat Cafe La Triennale, l'Art Book, every three years changing art exhibitions take place.
From 1923 for 10 years, the Biennale was held in Monza and was moved to Milan in 1933.

The Palazzo dell'Arte is also home to the Teatro dell'Arte.
Triennale Design Museum
In 2007, the Triennale Design Museum was inaugurated, which represents the most important collection of modern Italian design. The dynamic museum constantly updating their and offers the viewer an insight into the diversity and expression of Italian design in the course of time.
In addition to exhibitions of contemporary art, the Triennial is a place for study and research, and a meeting place for interactive and experimental art.

For April 2012, there has been created the project Camparitivo in Triennale, a joint project of Camparisoda and the Triennale di Milano.
The places was created by designer Matteo Ragni in memory of Depero, a master of Futurism and creator of Camparisoda mini bottles. Camparitivo in Triennale is an oasis and meeting place with centuries-old trees in the garden of the Triennial.

The garden of the Triennial has been reopened in 2005 on occasion of the exhibition open-air design during the furniture fair, Salone del Mobile. Over the years, various installations and sculptures, such as the fallen moon, the wood ladder, the Hebdomerus, the women, the millipedes have found a lovely place in the garden.
The Group of bathers "Bagni Misteriosi" was created by Giorgio De Chirico in occasion of the exhibition Art - Contact - City during the XV Triennale Milano 1973. The group of sculptures from Vicenza stone was restored between 2009 and 2011. A part of the sculptur is located at the entrance of the Museo Novecento.
