Church of Saint Mark

Church San Marco Milan

The Church of San Marco in the San Marco square was consecrated in the year 1254.

From the rear there is to see the beautiful bell tower from the 13th Century.

Martin Luther and the young Amadeus Mozart  were believers who frequented the church. To theirs honor there are held annually concerts in the church.

The interior of the church is decorated with frescoes and paintings of Lomazzo and Procaccini. The painting "Madonna with Child in her arms" results from the Master School of Leonardo da Vinci.
